KEITH POTGER the founding member of the internationally famous group The Seekers performed ‘Melodies & Memories’ at the Robert Hooper Community Centre on Friday 25 2017
‘On Friday night Friends of Oberon Library (FOOLs) hosted a concert featuring Keith Potger (from The Seekers) which about 80 people attended. As well as with his mellow voice singing old and new favourites, many his own compositions, Keith’s sense of humour had the audience captivated.
The concert was a great success and, judging by the comments and smiling faces, was enormously enjoyed by everyone who together generated a wonderful ambience.
Keith and his partner Elizabeth extended their visit to Oberon over the weekend with a ukulele workshop and a ‘steam up’ experience with the Local Heritage and Collectors Club.’
